The Image Tools are a set of tools that are extremely useful
for working with images, particularly when used for album
images, their primary purpose. As mentioned in the Tree
View page mp3ql can store and display an album image
in conjunction with an album, however, it only supports
.png files for this purpose, the image tools prove extremely
effective in converting an album image to this format.
This converts any image format to the png format.

This shows the image, from both image files and embedded
id3 image tags in the context doc browser at the images
full resolution.
This will re-size the selected image to the scale you choose.
When you downsize an image the original image file will
be renamed to image 1.png
for example, this means you always have a copy of the original
file if you choose to revert to the initial size at any
point.
Linux Only - If you select an image and use this
option, it will scale the image and copy it to a file named
.directory.png, and
create a .directory
text file, this enables you to use images for any directories,
the change will also be visible under some file managers,
konqueror for instance.
