What is mq3ql?

It is a tool for browsing, organizing and tagging large collections of mp3 files.

Why another mp3-tagger?

Several reasons:

• first of all: mp3ql isn't just another ordinary tagger.
  it is also a flexible and highly customizable file browser.
• most of the existing taggers aren't platform independent,
• they don't do exactly what I want them to do,
• they aren't easily extensible or scriptable.
• have a look at the feature list for more reasons.

What can you do?

• You could be an early adaptor, try to run the program and give me some feedback.
• You could help me programming it.
• You could help me and Dan writing some documentation.
• You could create or provide some artwork for icons, filetypes, etc.
• You could send me loads of money :-)
