mp3ql Manual

Introduction

Mp3ql provides an extremely flexible interface which can be fully tailored into a workspace that suits you, by arranging multiple Windows in Layouts. Although there are default Layouts provided, these are only guides. Layouts can be rearranged by removing, adding, resizing and positioning the Windows. Each Windows has specific functionality and is an active component of the program, although some Windows share common features.

Windows

Detail View

A tabular like overview of files and subdirectories in a certain directory.

Doc View

Used for viewing and editing various files, and to view this manual.

Tree View

Provides an overview over the directory structure of the complete filesystem.

Icon View

Represents files and subdirectories in a certain directory as icons.

Shelf

A place for bookmarking frequently used files and directories as well as a handy intermediate location for complex file operations.

Playlist View

The central overview of your mp3 collection.

Tag Editor

A small but powerful mp3 tagger.
